Distribution House · Established 2024

Goods held, cleared and moved across the European Union.

The Morland Mercantile Distribution House s.r.o. is a Prague-registered logistics and trading house. We warehouse, forward and import agricultural and general merchandise, and we carry the customs and official-control paperwork that lets a consignment travel without stopping.

About

A trading house built around the paperwork.

Most freight moves fine. What stops it is a missing certificate, a tariff heading that does not match the invoice, or a pre-notification filed after the truck reached the border post. Morland Mercantile was set up to take that whole layer off the importer’s desk — the declaration, the classification, the origin evidence, the official-control file — and to hold the goods properly while it is being resolved.

We work across the agricultural trade and general merchandise: bulk and packaged foodstuffs, plant and plant products, and the ordinary run of wholesale goods moving into and around the single market. Our trade licence covers forwarding, customs representation, warehousing and cargo handling, which means one counterparty carries the consignment from arrival through release into free circulation.

The company is a Czech limited liability company seated in Prague 1, a short walk from the customs offices on V celnici. Enquiries are handled in English and Czech.

Services

Four lines of business, one file per consignment.

01

Freight forwarding & transport

Road, sea and air movements to and from EU seaports and inland terminals. Carrier procurement, consolidation and multimodal routing, transit under T1 / T2 where the goods are not yet cleared, and documentary handling end to end.

NACE 52.29
02

Warehousing & cargo handling

Storage, packing and repacking, palletisation, cross-docking and stock records — including goods held in temporary storage or under customs supervision while a declaration is pending. Condition and segregation requirements for foodstuffs are kept to the client’s written specification.

NACE 52.10
03

Import & customs representation

Direct and indirect representation before the Czech customs administration. Import, export and transit declarations, EORI registration, tariff classification and binding-information support, origin and preferential treatment, duty and import VAT handling, and release into free circulation.

NACE 46 / 47
04

Regulatory compliance & advisory

Official-control paperwork for agricultural consignments: phytosanitary and health certificates, CHED pre-notification through TRACES NT, border control post scheduling, labelling and documentary checks. Plus trade advisory, supplier documentation review and expert studies where a client needs the position in writing.

Advisory
Compliance

The frameworks we file under.

Agricultural imports carry a heavier documentary burden than most cargo, and the burden sits with the importer whether or not they are equipped to carry it. We work to written procedures per client and per commodity, retain the full audit trail for the statutory period, and will not file a declaration we cannot evidence.
